CUSTOMER SERVICE BOOST FOR THOMPSON
Thompson, the friction welding specialist, has strengthened its customer relations team with the creation of two new positions.
Dawn Shaw, who has worked at Thompson for almost a decade, has been promoted from her role as sales support administrator and becomes head of customer services at the company’s Halesowen headquarters.
She will be responsible for a wide range of after-sales duties including the co-ordination of Thompson’s spares service and is the new contact for all queries relating to machine contracts.
Thompson has also appointed Charlotte Mackie as its new sales and marketing administrator and she will work closely with the company’s sales manager, Nick Edge, and his team of international sales staff.
Charlotte, who has a degree in business studies, has undertaken a variety of administration roles since joining the friction welding machine manufacturer last year.
“Both Dawn and Charlotte are excellent communicators and will further enhance Thompson’s extensive customer service and after-sales support operation,” commented sales manager Nick Edge.
